Robert,
Very interesting perspectives from yourself and Irv Sobel. I agree with your comments regarding posters using aliases to withhold their identities and further believe SI should not facilitate anonymous postings which are accountable to nobody.
I must concur, however, to all of the investors of WWWC who have patiently waited for actions to materialize and have had to endure the many reported shenanigans of this company's chief executive officer, his mother, grandmother, etc. that their pursuit of remedies through the legal system at this juncture seem reasonably sound. While I must admit I am not fully apprised of all of the legal proceedings, as an industry consultant I am aware of many past complaints concerning WWWC and the recent actions of some of the posters to this thread seem legitimate to me. What is apparent is that $15 to $18 million dollars was raised (a considerable amount of money even for a development company) from a myriad of individuals even in states like Pennsylvania where supposedly prohibited for which there is little accounting, rumors that WWWC awarded prizes to family members as opposed to customers, houses and boats being acquired with investor funds and complaints that people due money were never paid, etc. etc. Perhaps someone here could elaborate further or clarify some of this.
So, just how old is Peter, the CEO? I found it particularly perplexing to hear that Peter's mother called you. Was she reassuring you her little boy was a good boy?<g> If she had contacted me I would have suggested she at least spank Peter for the posting he made several months ago on the thread about "going nuclear". What the hell is really going on here?
Again, as an observer, I applaud your patience and by all means wish you as an investor and the company great success, however, the line has to be drawn somewhere. If malfeasance has occurred, it's time to stop resting on your laurels and get to the bottom of it. I personally have had situations like this in the past where I deeply regret being too affable and not taking action sooner. |
