Alan Abelson is a horse's ass. He is the journalistic equivalent of James Grant. Both have been proclaiming that the market is overvalued and on the verge of a cataclysmic crash and ensuing bear market for the last five years. Rarely have two people been so consistently wrong or clueless. The sad part is that he is a talented writer and his pieces are entertaining -- unfortunately that makes them persuasive enough for a few unwitting investors to follow their lousy ill-timed advice. Pity.
