I'd be curious to know how many here actually live off and pay the bills from the proceeds of their daytrading.

Count me in. I'm doing much better with daytrading than I ever did as a chemical engineer. However, I wouldn't encourage any of my family or friends to attempt to live off of daytrading, as it is a very difficult career to make a living from.
