Bob: I am going to go way out on a limb here, but I have to say it. I bet the money went just where it came from. People buy in...people sell out. You weren't wondering where the Billion dollar cap came from til it was gone. I think it is a simple as stated. Enough people buy and it goes up. Rightly or wrongly. Enough people sell and it goes down.

Unless there is another place for the money to go, I am saying it went to people that sold. Sometimes for more and sometimes for less than what they spent for it. As for short sellers they have to pay for what they sold. Sometimes for more. Sometimes for less.

The money went to those that sold. That is where the market cap went. Just as when the price advanced. It advanced just as radically as it fell.
