Because this whole theme has deteriorated to the point that we are in danger of destroying what have been some good friendships. I am starting to feel estranged from E and others, which is the last thing I want. Discussion is one thing. But we have moved far from that into personal attack, overt offensiveness, and insult (of course, nihil has always been there, but now others are going there too, which is a loss to our ability as a community to discuss and debate topics constructively). This is not worth the loss of friends.

I am not going to post any more on this thread on the topic of religion.
