Hello Harry & All. We came back last night. We enjoyed our tiny vacation. With the exception of a few areas(Chelsea, TriBeCa, Grammercy, and Upper west side), we saw most of what we wanted to see. A lot walking, sightseeing, and some shopping. As that old man Fred Mertz in "I love Lucy" once said, "Don't talk about NYC in front of my feet"!!!

We even got hooked up with NYPD! We walked into a pet shop to ask about the nearest subway station. The clerk paid no attention to us and kept talking on the phone with his back to us so we left and walked into Bloomingdale's nearby to do some shopping. A few minutes later the shopkeeper from the pet shop who had followed us, walked in and accused us of stealing his wallet with $1000 in it!!! After telling him we didn't do such a thing, since he wouldn't leave & I thought he was trying to swindle us, I told him to get the cops. Four officers arrived about 15 minutes later and I explained to them what happened and said that we must be the greatest thieves in the world to have planned such a perfect robbery by coming here all the way from TX and walking in at the perfect time into this guy's shop knowing in advance he would be busy on the phone with $1000 cash in his wallet on the counter for us to grab....... After more questioning, the officers basically told him and his friend that their story doesn't make sense. I told the officers that I don't want to see those two men follow us and got the names of two of the officers to call in case they followed us. They didn't and that was all I cared about.

We were visiting NYSE exchange on Monday afternoon when AOL had dropped to low 90s. I didn't know why the net stocks were down(still don't) but I immediately thought of Acampora's call: If AOL breaks 112, it is going to 90. Brilliant call.

I have a lot of catching up to do. My cable went down on the Friday before we left and is still down. It is supposed to get looked at on Tues. I hate ATHM!!! I called ELNK today and got a new account in five minutes so I am connected to the web again.

I wanted to thank you & Jim for the updates while I was gone. It makes my job much easier in trying to make sense of what happened to the markets while I was gone.

I'll talk to you soon.

Clint
