Well, our thread here is having upper GI cramps because folks are getting tetchy about stuff they care a great deal about. Guns is my tetchy subject. I admit it. Y'know it's weird. I remember the Igfestation and how much that all sucked and for some reason this feels worse. We're almost all survivors here - folks who've been through the thick and thin of the Coffee Shop - and all on our ownsome we (well, whaddya mean We, Paleface...) have gotten into a corner where we're talking about a mess of hurt feelings. A thread like this should (imho!) be a place to play. Sure, some of the discussions I've seen here touch on big issues ( professional dignity, politics, religion, science, is Tinky Winky really perverting our children???) but for the longest time we've managed a sort of homeostasis where things didn't get strained. Somehow there seems to be more strain, less of the old rolling resiliency here. Do you feel it too?
