June 18, 1999 Dow Jones Newswires Hastings Entertain, Rentrak's Formovies.co In Web Pact AMARILLO, Texas -- Formovies.com, a unit of Rentrak Corp. (RENT), agreed to provide Hastings Entertainment Inc.'s (HAST) online customers with information about selection availability of rental videos and buying video products. Financial terms weren't disclosed. In a press release Friday, Hastings said the customized and information resources available will include "Movie Wizard," a recommendation service that suggests videos based on the customer's preferences; "Movie Informant," a weekly e-mail listing new releases, coming attractions and other store-related information; and links to movie studios and related Web sites. Hastings is a multimedia entertainment retailer with 131 stores. Rentrak's Formovies.com provides Web site services for video retailers. -Sam Favate; 201-938-5400
