Shorting against the box is a hedge/arbitrage play. But in this case as stated in the terms of the PP,they can short using the convertible as margin and cover with converted shares(basically naked shorting)..Good luck ED..bet it will open at a dollar<g>..DD
PS:<You must be "Short" someone else's stock and buy back or "Cover"!> Again read the terms,,nothing gets "bought", the debs can be converted to shares and used to cover the short-the debs used to cover the margin.thanks for the lesson
