I've been on vacation the past week and just read your post to me regarding Sir Francis Drake. I understand your feelings.
Let me say that I have corresponded extensively with Sir Francis privately over a long time. I feel I know and understand him quite well. I believe very strongly that he is real and honest and genuine and sincere about his observations and his motives. Although he sometimes gets a bit strong and emotional and, perhaps, doesn't say things exactly the way you or I might, Sir Francis is obviously a very intelligent and observant person. He knows a great deal about the matters he discusses, and I value his opinion and the time he spends drafting his written contributions to this thread. You might learn more about him by following his posts to other threads. He is a major contributor on S.I.
Frankly, although I cannot speak for S.F., I believe I know why he does what he does. He and I have much in common. Like I, he probably believes CyBerTrader is the very best daytrading package available. That's probably why he hasn't abandoned it yet. Like I, he probably also believes there are significant problems with CT and that there is substantial room for improvement. S.F. has already accomplished a lot and is responsible for some major improvements. So, his efforts have not been in vain.
I believe CyBerTrader is good, very good (I'm still using it) and I hope to see it become much better. So, as much as I respect your opinion and understand your feelings regarding S.F., I personally believe you are just mis-reading him on this issue. Regardless, though, I agree with you that enough has been said on this topic and I personally do not intend to pursue it further. I believe it has been way way way overdone already.
