I could swear that mine has done it a few times this last week, but just to humor you, I'll make sure it works that way while I'm travelling next week <gg> Please don't humor me. I'm quite certain the internal battery is not charged by attaching the extended battery but I haven't received my Thinphone yet so I cannot test your claim. Now I'm wondering if the other claims you have made about sound quality, charge times etc. are accurate or simply dreamed up by your wishful thinking. Bux
