Ausdauer, re: "A lot of hype here for the IBM microdrive." It seems to me that most of the "hype" on this thread regarding the Microdrive is negative. Neither I nor anyone else can find a use for it at the price. Some time back, this thread described SNDK's competitors as the Sony 200MB floppy, Clik! and the Microdrive (in any order). The Sony super-floppy still hasn't seen production volumes, Clik! is apparently "dead on arrival", and the Microdrive has been priced to make CF look like a genuine bargain. Which may explain why SNDK has done so well as of late. Having played the Devil's advocate for far too long, it's a joy to see CF flourish and SNDK longs prosper for their patience. Craig
