Maybe we'll make a racing driver out of yet, but I have this suspicion that you are probably too intelligent !!
I have this ability, especially when it is raining and/or dark to figuratively remove the contents of my cranial cavity and place it in a bucket of iced water at the back of the pit garage and then go out and do my drive. It really does help not too think too much. Probably similar to investing in BB stocks !!
Anyway, what does concern me is how close her indoors was to you. Who did you say wears the trousers in your house ?!!
I did look at buying the 540i before the Alpina. There is not much in it performance wise, handling wise the Alpina has the edge. If and when MSU brings us our just rewards I may trade in this Alpina for the new B10 V8 version:
4.6 litre V8, 354bhp, 0-60 4.95secs, 0-100mph 11.9 secs, top whack circa 174mph.
But in the UK the car is stupid money, circa $130,000.......
