Will Ericsson be only a Wireless player in the future? It appears that Ericsson will dump all telecoms related business and concentrate only in wireless. Ericsson corporate team is composed entirely of people from Ericsson wireless business segment. The Technology Officer is advised only by wireless people. All investments in new technologies and Ericsson acquisitions seem to be to support the wireless business. Moreover Ericsson is cutting deep in R&D related to the wireline segment.
