KYL BILL INCHING CLOSER

On the eve of the National Gambling Impact Study Group's delivery of their report on gambling in America, the Senate Judiciary Committee approved, by an 18-1 vote, the Kyl Bill. There is no word yet as to when the bill will hit the Senate floor for voting, and the House of Representatives hasn't even introduced their version of the bill yet. The bill that passed yesterday still does not penalize the "casual better" and still contains provisions that would clear the way for online fantasy leagues, lotteries, and horse racing. In other words, the bill is almost completely worthless, other than "officially" making Internet gambling illegal in the US.
