Craig and Thread, I was shocked recently at the latest Sony offerings. These were on sale at BestBuy and the salesperson said they were "hot"... Sony MVCFD-83 "Mavica" 1216 x 912 resolution (approx 1.1 megapixel) solar backlit color LCD panel 1.44 MB floppy drive Sony MVCFD-88 "Mavica" 1280 x 960 resolution (approx 1.3 megapixel) solar backlit color LCD panel 1.44 MB floppy drive These are the latest in the Mavica line and a continuation on the floppy theme. The problem is that the highest resolution setting allows for approximately 6 pictures. Thus, the files are compressed to about 200KB or so. Shutter delay was also annoying. Also, on highest resolution (fine) the camera requires 25 seconds to process and store one image!!! The Mavica will just not go away! Ausdauer
