CL,

<<the MM's can sell short under any circumstances.>>

I asked my broker about this and he said the stock cannot be sold short, not by anyone, if the shorter cannot deliver the stock. If the stock is not marginable, it cannot be "borrowed" from anyone's account. And finally, the NASD listing requirements decides what stocks are marginable, and IPM's shares have not met those requirements.

Therefore, no-one can be shorting the stock. I read a few posts where people have stated that their brokers are letting them margin IPM, but if so it may have more to do with individual relationships and account standings than "official" designations. At any rate, those could not account for the volumes being speculated on as being short.

I do not know who to believe. Can you shed some light on this?

BTW, I bought DIME and IPMCF because of your sincere efforts to inform me of their merits, I recently sold my DMX (at a small profit) to double up on IPM. You might remember I questioned you last May about Dimethaid, you were nice enough to mail me more information about the company. Thank you very much.
