been in contact with Market Guide and the information from Market Guide
(Yahoo) has now been updated. We will continue to monitor it to ensure
that is is reflected correctly. If you notice any information on the
Internet about Tanners that is incorrect, please let us know, we'll be
happy to try to get it corrected.
The acquisition of Crabby Bob's is progressing. However, as is typical
in acquisitions, there are also little details that have to be ironed
out (particularly once the attorneys get involved). The company is in
that "ironing out" process, and is hopeful that the acquisition will be
completed shortly.
Crabby Bob's currently has three new stores under development. In
addition, Tanners is considering converting at least one of its locations
to the Crabby Bob's format. Depending upon completion of the
acquisition, and other factors, I believe the company's objective will
be to open as many Crabby Bob's as their resources allow.
I cannot provide you with any further information about the web site. I
will have to check with the company on Monday to find out what is
happening, and then I'll let you know.
By the way, I visited the Crabby Bobs in Atlanta last week. My personal
opinion--the food was excellent, and I really liked the atmosphere.
It's casual and fun, with just the right amount of "upscale" at the same
time. And although it offers fresh seafood (which is becoming
increasingly popular) the prices are very reasonable compared to many
seafood restaurants in which I have eaten. I was impressed with the
concept, and I'm looking forward to visiting the Crabby Bob's in
California over the next few weeks..
