Recently the "real" John Kirk--who isn't Whispy, apparently--got in touch with me and asked me to post the following. I offer it unedited:

Hello Janice I am writing you this little note because I can't figure out how to write on the Silicon Investor. It was brought to my attention by a friend that people were talking about me on the internet so I took a peek and was frusterated when I could not reply. I want to let you know how I feel so you can pass it on to your friends. I am not a president nor a member of the board of a public company. I was looking for a job 4 years or so ago and was hired as an investor relations consultant. As an investor relations consultant my job is not too involved, only delivering the facts and projections of the company I am working with at that time. I develope friendships with many investor and brokers I speak with. When the stock is up everyone is excited when the stock is down everyone is grumpy, but I have learned that is just the market. From day 1 I was cautioned never to tell anyone to buy or sell, since I am not a broker or investment advisor I know never to do that. What I like best is seeing a company as truely unervalued introduce it to individuals and see management produce so the company the investors and everyone involved sees succeuss. Some companies I have worked with have seen great success and others have been disapointing in the last 4 years I think I have learned what to look for; good and more importantly bad. The company TTRIF which I saw was the first public company ever I worked with. They looked to me that they were going to be the "Microsoft of the Waste Industry", I had a disagreement with the
management and later left the company. That company went from .34cent to around $3.80 while I was working there I left when the price was around 2.50 and later I understand they had legal problems and lot of dilution bringing the price under.10. Since I was only an employee I never could tell people to buy or sell only to deliver the facts and projections. I feel for some friends who still have large monies invested but I never told any one to buy or sell it was their decision only. RIHI is the company I am working with. The new company that was vending in investors were calling in very excited. Everone calling in were asking for financials and we in turn would relay it to management, later it became an issue that caused in part the cancelling of the merger. The end conclusion that I understand is RIHI had 8.4 million before the announced intent to merge and today have around 8.9, RIHI is trading, reporting, has a large network of investors and brokers eagerly waiting for the news of a new company to come in and has a devoted Investor Relations Department here and active. management explains they have come to the conclusion not to merge for the best interest of the company and it's share holders. The part I like best is that management is not long gone or pointing the finger elsewhere contact him yourself his name is Jan Olivier 602-994-3513 Jan speaks with all shareholders and brokers at all hrs and they are still keeping the investor relations department. Eventhough my job is to only deliver the facts and projections in a timely fashion to invetors I do have a good gut feeling about the management in RIHI. FYI I have never writen on the silicon in my life but if you or anyone would like to contact me, anytime 604-312-9842

All the best,
John Kirk

And from today:

Hello Janice how are you? I am doing fine. Jan seems to be taking his time researching companies as much as possible before he considers them seriously for merger, he indicates once he chooses one secondly it must pass the strigent test of his accountants. It is good for me to see Jan is in a hurry to take his time and do the proper research that is neccessary....

...I got a few calls from friends who had read the Silicon Investor and were very disturbed asking me what is going on? With those folks saying nasty things about me personally my friends really want to know what goes on. If you could let them know the original message I sent I would really appreciate it. I am only a guy who tries to work hard
at the job I do, if something goes wrong I will do the best in my power to fix things(still I am not management only the guy who delivers the facts and projections). When I first started working in the industry I had no idea what to look for with market individuals who were not as honest as they appeared, now I feel I have got a very good idea of exactly what to look for. If you could also let everyone there know my personal telephone number 604-312-9842 so if anyone has any questions at all they can call me at any time. They can call me on companies I have worked in the past companies I am presently working or companies they are investing with on the side. I am no investing Guru nor do I have any advisory degrees but I do have exerience and would be more than happy to speak with anyone.

Thank You Janice,
John Kirk
