In this particular context, these are simply code phrases for "Christianity". (Also Judaism, and to a much lesser extent, Islam- -but only these three religions.)
Would posting a cross above the school violate separation? How about painting it on the glass of the entrance door? How about the wall past the entrance? We both know the answer. THat what they do at Catholic schools. The 10Cs are simply another artifact from Christianity and allowing their display constitutes proselytizing and this violates the constitutionally required separation of church and state. This is the dirty little secret your uses of euphemisms is trying to avoid.

Schools do in fact teach values. (At least they did when I was in school; I would guess that inevitably they still must.) "Don't hit other children", "Don't tell lies", "Don't steal", "Don't cheat". Teachers are constantly giving lessons in practical values and morals that their charges are going to need to survive in society and get through life.. They just don't happen to be the particular religious ones that you and other Christians want.

Tough. Get used to it. You have the children more than the schools do, so you have no lack of opportunity to brainwash them your way.

And with that, I've had my say on this subject. You may or (more probably) may not admit it, but I think you know that your real intent in wanting the 10Cs in there is to make more little Christians.
