Bob,

GRNO couldn't announce any $$ figure as Manek apparently is still studying its target market to assess the size of unit they will require, #400, #600, #800(?). However, since GRNO will only be manufacturing #400 and above you have a minimum of 5 x $1.5 million or $7.5 million in orders over the next five years (minimum). I believe that this would be the only reason for a lack of a total value on the agreement. Bo mentioned to me last night that this is an agreement, not merely a letter of intent. ie.. an order with a yet to be announced delivery date. This basically helps GRNO determine how its production run for 1997 will flow and which customer receives priority.

2. Manek will be required to order at least one unit in 1997 according to the press release. I really don't care when they order it. Due to the profitability of GRNO's EnviroEconomics process, I would suggest to you that Manek will be working diligently to create the conditions necessary to begin production. Wouldn't you??

3. Bill Carraway is pretty savvy. He performs credit checks on all potential customers, even the Hungarians, in order to assess credit-worthiness. He mentioned this to me several weeks ago. This is also one of the reasons that Bill requires money on the barrel in the form of deposits and progress payments. He assumes that if he begins construction of a unit and the customer pays the deposit (1/3 of total cost) and fails to make subsequent progress payments, he can always turn around and sell the machine to someone else. I think he is in the best of all worlds. Little risk, and great profits. This financing arrangement is one most attractive aspects to my investment in GRNO. It leaves few possibilities for negative earnings surprises.

4. Good question. I can't imagine that GRNO isn't receiving a royalty. I'll inquire into that. I think it was just an omission, but Bill makes the decisions on the business end.

Hope that puts your questions into a different perspective.

Regards,

Ron
