as i recall, dell was considering an alternate site outside of nashville...a bit further from the airport, but maybe there are other advantages to that site that will compensate for that loss....and if dell really needs the close access to the airport, maybe it can sweeten the deal enough to get the votes needed for approval by the nashville city council. anyone know the status on the negotiations for the alternate site? hopefully they aren't dead in the water if the nashville city council is about to veto the current proposed deal.
