sig...so what is the point you are trying to make???? the discussion wasn't on stock pricing during a period when most stocks did lie fallow. the subject was on turn arounds. since 1994 this horrible company, rewarded believers of its ability to recover with a 722% increase in stock price. my point is that cpq with proper management has the ability to become extremely profitable, imho as a businessman.....not comparing either with dell....but going forward the ibm/hwp/cpq/siemens of the world can survive with or without the pc.....dell in its present configuration would be in a sad state if it had no pc revenues, as would gtw....two different classes of companies, again not easy to compare....
