A warm welcome to the newbies of the folder!

There appear to be some people posting messages for the first time in the folder. Welcome to all of you! We have a great group of people posting here, some on a frequent basis and some on an infrequent basis. With some newcomers added to the group, this can be an even greater experience for all of us.

For a terrific experience to be had by both the newbies and the veterans, some of the newbies have to do some homework. As my Uncle Frank says, "Read the manual." If you haven't read The Gorilla Game, it's important that you do so to be a viable participant in this folder. If you haven't read it, it's virtually impossible not to become accidentally mislead by terminology defined only in "the manual" that we use on a daily basis. If you haven't read it, your ability to make meaningful contributions to the thread in context of the manual is dramatically limited. And being very selfish, :) that deprives all of us of the fresh, new insights we hope you'll bring to the thread.

We'll be patient (to a point.) We know you can't stop what you're doing and read the book today. But if this thread is as appealing to you as it is to all of us who find parts of the book immensely valuable, we hope you'll read it as soon as it's reasonably possible. We think you'll be very glad you did.

Thanks in advance. Speaking for everyone here (though without being asked to do so!), we look forward to more of your posts.
