Again, the answer: because there is no certainty of the analysts' firms getting underwriting fees from RMBS. Everyone knows this, Don.

I have mentioned this before as well. RMBS does not need to float any more debt or issue stock, doesn't look like they will be doing any hostile takeovers and will, if anything, buy their shares back with all the cash. Hardly an investment bankers dream account!? <gg>

It doesn't make the company any less valuable though!
