Is Cymers' technology moving to Telecommunications... Monday June 21, 4:34 am Eastern Time Sharp, Conexant to develop 0.15 micron technology TOKYO, June 21 (Reuters) - Sharp Corp said on Monday it plans to jointly develop 0.15 micron process technology for next-generation semiconductor chips with Conexant Systems Inc (Nasdaq:CNXT - news) of the United States. The companies expect the smaller technology to be used in LSI (large-scale integration) chips in digital home electronics and communications equipment, Sharp said in a statement. The companies also aim to cooperate in LSI system design. They have been cooperating to develop 0.18 micron process technology since last year. Conexant Systems was spun off from Rockwell International Corp (NYSE:ROK - news) last year. Any thoughts? Craig
