Digital River (Nasdaq: DRIV), a leader in Web-based commerce, today announced a CommerceBridge partnership with T-bob(tm) Entertainment, Incorporated, an interactive information center which started in San Diego County, Calif. Under the agreement, Digital River's CommerceBridge will provide T-bob Entertainment with end-to-end transaction processing services including credit card and fraud screening, enabling its advertisers to seamlessly access account information and pay for advertising space and links.
T-bob Entertainment allows travelers to research San Diego area lodging, entertainment, dining, family events, shopping information, business financial services and over seventy-five major categories and hundreds of sub-categories (such as fast food or fine dining) on the Web at tbob.com and in physical informational kiosks. T-bob also has plans to expand its services to include other major cities throughout the U.S.
Digital River's CommerceBridge service allows T-bob Entertainment's advertisers, including restaurants, hotels and museums, to easily post company and event information on the Web - providing travelers with a comprehensive resource for activities in the area. T-bob's new Web-based format allows each advertiser the ability to edit advertisements online and change information in an interactive process. Small businesses are not required to have an Internet address to participate. T-bob provides advertisers with name, address, phone, META tags, up to 80 lines of text, a coupon, a URL link, and a picture for one very low price.
