Dell have been really aggressive in the server market over the last year or so, something to do with a bigger rival just down the road perhaps? Anyway I would not be at all surprised given the recent information from Tom's Hardware about a September 5 announcement from Intel on Camino *and Carmel*, if we Dell announce a new range based on Pentium III @ 550Mhz, both servers(using Carmel) and workstations (using Camino). I don't know if they usually preannounce,
but perhaps the announcement may come tomorrow at PCExpo.
