I agree. VGA resolution was fine 2 years ago. XGA resolution was "o.k." a year and a half ago. Today you need to be at least one megapixel in resolution and capable of photorealistic prints of at least 4" x 6" in dimension.

Most higher end cameras have the capability of rapid sequential pictures due to on-board buffer memory. A twenty-five second delay for a 200 KB file is just not going to cut the mustard. And you don't need to be a photography buff or advanced amateur to appreciate this reality.

Let's face it, the floppy is a technology of the 80's while flash memory is a technology of the millennium.

In essence, it is the difference between a pair of Hush Puppies and a pair of Air Jordans.
