Company Press Release

Heinz Canada Selects Advanced Systems
International's Client/Server T&A Solution

SOUTHFIELD, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 21, 1999--Advanced Systems International (OTC BB:ADSNE - news) has
been awarded the contract with H. J. Heinz Company of Canada to implement its ATServer(r), open client/server time,
attendance and labor allocation solution at two sites in Ontario.

The software will replace a manual time and attendance system at the Omstead facility in Wheatley and will be used to solve the
company's Y2K compliance problem at the Leamington manufacturing facility.

ATServer(r) is a state-of-the-art time and attendance and labor allocation application designed for unparalleled ease of use,
functionality and flexibility. The system was developed using industry-standard modules to accommodate the widest range of
existing user data processing environments.

The Heinz Canada Leamington factory manufactures the entire suite of Heinz products, while the Omstead factory is a frozen
food facility preparing and packaging frozen fish, and coated and frozen vegetables under the Omstead label.

Roger Shires, Project Manager for the time & attendance implementation, said, ''ATServer(r) was chosen because the product
readily adapts to unique and frequently complex business rules at each site, including a Continental work week at Leamington and
multiple union contracts. Our software selection concluded that ATServer(r) was a cost competitive solution that fulfilled our Y2K
concerns, and allowed for a proven implementation methodology.'' Debbie Lambier, Senior Systems Analyst, said, ''The system
allows us to use a previously existing time clock system without a custom interface. ATServer(r) runs on an NT platform that was
another big plus for Heinz Canada. ATServer(r) will have real time links to our ADP payroll system and other in-house
applications.''

Gerry Pesut, President and CEO of Advanced Systems International said, ''The Heinz Canada application was an important test
for our open systems concept. They presented us with approximately 15 business requirements that would be difficult to
accommodate with most current, time and attendance systems. We met all of them with our standard product. This flexibility
should dramatically reduce Heinz Canada's implementation and product life cycle costs.''

Heinz Canada has some 2,000 full-time salaried and hourly employees and more than 500 seasonal staff in its manufacturing
facilities, headquarters and sales offices across Canada. One of 40 worldwide affiliates of the H. J. Heinz Company (Pittsburgh,
PA), Heinz Canada offers customers products in six key product categories: ketchup, foodservice, pet food, infant foods, canned
beans and pasta, as well as other varieties including tomato juice and weight control products.

Advanced Systems International (ASI) is a supplier of time and attendance and labor allocation applications, as well as data
distribution and access solutions for the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment. ASI's cost-effective, comprehensive
product offering includes the application software, hardware, implementation services and on-going support necessary for rapid
deployment of enterprise-wide distributed processing. The company markets its products through direct sales and in conjunction
