You are certainly right. Gold is now an entirely contrarian play. I have bought a good number of shares of a favorite penny miner here. This is sheer speculation but one must remember that if the Dow is going to 20,000 and worldwide recovery and growth is on the front burner again, then metals will be used and will be needed and will move as an industry to take part in the boom. No Y2K, Millenial Apocalyptic cataclysm is needed. --Alan
