This is nonsense. Didn't your mommy never tell you to lie? What do you gain from lying except to tarnish your already weak credibility.

Many politicians and analysts do not view the NATO action as a "total" victory, but most acknowledge some of the achievements gained by NATO. You can't measure the results of NATO's humanitarian efforts in terms of victory or loss.

OTOH, throughout history we have learned about the imperfection of man. Military genius comes along once in a thousand years. Politicians and military leaders are going to make mistakes.

But, in all, who can deny the achievements of NATO?

- Drove the Serbs out of Kosovo.

- Prevented genocide in Kosovo.

- Demonstrated the ethical and moral nature of NATO.

- Showed to the world the horrors of ethnic cleansing.

- Showed to the world that military might could be used for good.

- Provided food, water, shelter and medical care for hundreds of thousands.

- Stablized the Balkans by significantly damaging Serbia's war machine.

- Enabling the refugees to go back home.

- Helping to rebuild Kosovo.

The fact that you can see no good in the NATO effort speaks volumes for your own values. I feel that President Clinton's moral character in trying to save the Kosovo Albanians from Genocide is far superior to your morality, which says that we should have just let the Serbs do what they wanted with the innocent families of Kosovo.

Bottom line: You need to spend more time in the confessional, though I doubt that it would do you any good. <g>
