I heared that they will be taken over by another company !!!!!!
Somebody wants it real bad. It looks like someone knows something we don't. and on small volume the stock was being accumulated by insiders. It reached new highs after the decline, closing at a higher low, which indicates a trend change technically. Actually the stock was as high as 11 during Fridays trading. The fact that it closed higher then where it opened , ever since the decline indicates a trend change. This is a MAJOR trend change as indicated in all the books. This is the place to buy it for technical reasons.
I bought the stock at 7 3/8 . it looked like it bottomed. look at the charts
I also called the company and found out why they went down.
BAD EARNINGS.
The reason for bad earnings had to do with their not shipping orders (19M worth of
orders for their new drive.
They have bottomed at 7 . The bad news is already out. They are working on fixing all problems.
The president retired (he is also the owner). and some more experienced
managers stepped in from Seagate (COnner), and from Compact. They are doing
to pinnacle whta the new management is doing for Apple. The way I see it. The
had bad management. and they fixed it. Where do you think the stock will go
from now ? ONLY UP. I believe it will reach 12/13 very soon, possibly next week. stay there for a
little, then on any news (release of drives due June for the 2.5 G and Aug
on the 4.6 drive).they will rocket to new highs with high volume. They also sell Writable CD ROM drives that sell for $899
which will become more and more popular as prices drop.
Also look at IOMEGA. Pinnacle makes an optical storage cartridge, with a shelf life of 30 years. Much more reliable than the magnetic storage that IOMEGA is offering on their new Jazz drives. Also the cost of storage on their delayed 4.6 G product is $150 per cartridge, compared with $125 for the equivalent IOMEGA 1G storage. At current prices this stock is way too cheap.
If I were you, I would grab the stock while I can. It is still cheap.
