Certainly DVCPro will have an impact. Avid is already well up on the DVCPro learning curve. Check out: avid.com This press release (from NAB last year) announces a strategic alliance between Avid and Panasonic in which OMF (the lingua franca of Avid editing solutions) will be used as the "on-disk container" of DVCPro footage. Hence, all Avid editors will already be expertly suited to edit footage shot on DVCPro. Perry
