To All, Why is everyone's memory so short? Everyone is saying that this is a FIRST time that anything like this has happened? ``This is a watershed event,'' said Mark Edelstone, a semiconductor analyst at Prudential Securities in San Francisco. ``It's the first time anybody has ever had a product that is competitive with the latest generation technology from Intel.'' But its not!!! Unless my memory is complete screwed up (which it could be) there was a window last year when the Cyrix had the FASTEST chip on the (PC) market, the 6x86-200, which was launched BEFORE Intel's pentium 200 was on the market. How much money did Cyrix make last year? How much money did Intel make last year? end of story.. Darin
