scott..."reality sinking in"

the "reality" of cpq was evident months ago......it was revealed very clearly by the actions and words of the ceo and cfo....so anyone writing an article today has missed the boat....easy to "predict the past".......$40b companies with profitable components don't just go away, regardless of how much you write about what is obvious....let me pose a question...if a new ceo came in and immediately exited the retail pc channel, concentrated on the profitable aspects of the company which is high end, enterprise solutions, service, telecom, all which currently exists...would you think the company has a chance?...
and if "mikey" did not bring in management to "right his wrongs" in the early nineties, would we be communicating now??? it's all about management........and the decision that cpq makes on a new ceo, will reflect "management" and the capabilities of the current board of directors....
