ACMI Update: TraCell one step closer to approval! Read on: CHICAGO, March 19 /PRNewswire/ -- AccuMed International, Inc. (NASDAQ:ACMI) announced today that it has submitted a prompt and comprehensive response to a recent Food and Drug Administration letter requesting additional information regarding the Company's 510(k) TracCell(TM) submission. AccuMed scientists met with FDA officials on March 7 to clarify the FDA questions related to the November 21, 1996, 510(k) submission. AccuMed's rapid response was possible because no additional studies were required to respond completely to all the FDA requests.
