June 21, 1999 18:39 GMT: The UN Security Council reportedly began meeting behind closed doors to discuss the DR Congo war at 15:00 GMT today. Its special envoy, Moustapha Niasse, is reportedly briefing the Council on this week's Lusaka peace process which is to culminate in a June 26 ceasefire signature ceremony. While NCN has no special insight to the deliberations at the Council, it is suspected that the fragility of the peace process and the requirement for post-ceasefire peacekeeping will be on the Council's agenda.
