If your averaging up (avg ~8.45), you must now be shorting substantially more than your initial short position, and your timing must be really good near the 9 dollar range. From the way the stock looks to close today, you may have another chance to short some more near nine.

PS And as far as having balls go, I would imagine yours are shrinking a little right now.
