So sorry to hear about he problems there, and of your loss of your friend. You failed to mention little about current white based crime, I'm sure some of it exists. It does everywhere else, seems criminals come in every color.
Yes, emotions here(& more so on the dutch thread) are strained.
Sorry your new country copped the "blame game" from ours, of all the stupid trends to pick up!
So, I take it (for the time being at least) things are(if only somewhat) better in SAf than many other parts of Africa. Guess I can only say it sucks when Hell is better than elsewhere- or there are degrees in Hell.
Concerning investments there, AU still paying (annual) dividends, & on that little bit I've got, nearer even than with some other miners, though who can say about next year.
