Meathead, this is the (t?)billion dollar question... Can a thin client take the advatange over the higher-powered PC in internet connectivity?

Your answer is "no" from what I read. I'd like to be able to believe you are correct, but I have to wonder if both might have a strong market in the future. I understand that the individual's choice of content ("the phone company doesn't tell you who to call") might necessitate the power on the desktop, but for corporate networks and simple internet data processing, perhaps the thin client might be more cost effective?
