Janybird,
Don't be a condescending a-hole.
I read financial statements for a living.
The CCSI 8K, from what I've seen, gives me NO indication of how much profit they can really expect to make from their current "deal."
All it tells me is:
a) How many units have been committed to by the distributor. b) What kind of margin (%) the distributor will get.
Unfortunately, that says nothing about
a) The actual sale prices they expect. b) The margins CCSI expects to get from the deal.
You may note by looking at IBM's actual press releases, and the transcripts of their conference calls, that they (along with most reputable companies) do project such things as profit margin, total revenues, profit, etc. True, much of that is outside the SEC filings, but it is there.
As far as I can tell, CCSI has NEVER indicated what kind of profit margins they expect, when they expect to be profitable, etc. Even internet companies make some efforts in those areas. (Such as "profitable by 2002", or "sacrificing current profitability to gain market share and improved margins.")
BTW, I haven't read the full 8K. But if the selected postings are any indication, I won't find anything substantial.
