Recommend the article in the Economist "playing with the big boys". Unfortunately the thread given:

doesn't seem to work. Anyways the article says that this year, videogames industry sales (including value-priced ('VP') 'should be close to $20 billion worldwide'. Article goes on to say that the next three consoles and the industry "is now preparing to take on the PC and the TV. "The games console is the stealth platform" says Jon Peddie of JPA, a digital-media market research firm in San Francisco. It is the first serious challenge for interactive consumer eyeballs that the PC has seen. And it doesn't hurt that Sony is the Intel of the consumer electronics industry".

There's a good chance that GTR is going to ride this wave - at a discreet distance behind the leaders. VP games is the right way to play this market.

P.S. Thanks for rescuing this site. The other one seems to be full of chat on pennies of no interest or relevance whatsoever.
