PC be happy don't worry. I'd like to believe it but the manic and irrational and manipulated ramp of equity asset prices is a red flag of caution I can't ignore. Who benefits from this? not the contemporary investor, only the traders and those already completely "vested". Having made my complaint about the "rock star" stocks, there is a fairly sizable subset of stocks with good prospects and trading cheaply, positively but not very briskly. My basic complaint is I'd like to buy EMC cheap at $16 and ride it to $30 rather than to pay 60x earnings at $50 to puke it the next week at $60.
