Virtual First Down Line, Sponsored By VISA, Also To Be Used

Continuing the trend to enhance live sports telecasts with electronic imaging, Princeton Video Image, Inc. (NASDAQ: PVII, www.pvimage.com), announced that this Sunday's NFL Europe League World Bowl qualifier, to be shown live in the U.S. at 1 PM (ET) on Fox, will debut PVI's "Virtual Red Zone" technology, which places subtle red highlighting on the field along sidelines inside the 20 yard line. Premiering in the game between the Barcelona Dragons and the Frankfurt Galaxy, the Virtual Red Zone will be used in conjunction with PVI's virtual First Down Line. For the first ti me the virtual First Down Line will include a sponsorship credit, with VISA as sole sponsor.
