RE: hey Marc I think the following is a sign of topping

On occasion I am presented with the monthly ramblings of the other Bob, Bob Prechter. For about the past three years, the other Bob has identified just about everything, and I mean everything as sign of the "Top." Before you jump to hastily into this camp, you should know that it appears from Mackay's description of Tulipomania that this so called "bubble" lasted minimum of 36 years, from the time England first imported Tulips to the height in tulip pricing. If we extrapolate that to the current Internet group, even if we go back to the mid-1970's when most of the Internet CEO's were born, we still have at least about another 10 or so years to go in the rally. It seems to me that even if this is a bubble, which I do not believe for one moment, at least not yet, that there is plenty of distance between where we are now and the eventual height of Internet capitalization. That spells opportunity, whether you call it investing or speculation. So long as this sector is met with such universal, uninformed skepticism and bewilderment, that opportunity is alive and well.

This thread is a cure for complacency, if there ever was one.
