Dear "E":

Interesting you were looking for something that searches for breakouts ; that is EXACTLY what I have been looking for...

The "very short term up" is OK, but so many times it is TOO short term; e.g., a stock in a downtrend that pops up a 1/2 point or so - maybe enough to jump in on a short, but that's about it.

My method of short term (or position) trading is to spot a flat trending stock that jumps on volume (probably like half the investor population - but then again, maybe that is a good thing, more momentum).

If you find anything that screens for momentum that isn't posted on the thread, please pass the info along.

Thanks, and good luck!
