Dear George,
I am glad you like her voice. I understand the rest of her is even better! Fortunately, she takes after her mother for looks. "Thank Heaven!" from those who have seen the progenitor.
However, a non-American accent, other than French is negative for most drug and cosmetic advertising. It is almost as bad as a Texas twang, unless you are selling Tex - Mex Barbeque sauce. So, it depends on what you are selling. The British ( South African...whatever) accent is not perceived as trustworthy here.
With respect to her acting career, we all wish her good luck, but she will have to work hard, particularly if the commercial New York heard is an example. Accents are part and parcel of acting training. Thank you very much!
With respect to your "Scientific Discussion" on the thread, it is noted you still have not taken any courses or improved your knowledge in the area. It would, also, be vastly appreciated if you do not take credit for things you have not done, and have some respect for those who have done. Godfrey is a real scientist, you will have to go a long way to match. The idea that Chuck Phillips can do anything in the phamaceutical laboratory but sweep up is ludicrous. Your prejudice against Godfrey is increasingly obvious. Whatever did he do to you? Why are you cultivating Phillips? Another deal cooking??
Shouldn't you be concerned with your own daughter's career, rather than Q's, especially, at your age and at this distance? Delusions of adequacy, ... again?
