As a long time holder of S3(I do not follow DIMD) I heard a rumor today that S3 was buying Dimd for $9.00 a share. The volume and price movement of Dimd would seem to confirm this. However on the last S3 CC, the CEO of S3 talked negative about TDFX buying STBI, so from that perspective it would seem to rule out the S3/DIMD rumor. Personally I don't believe it or I at least hope its not true. Any long time DIMD followers that might be able to shed some light on this rumor?? There seems to be something up with DIMD, there is heavy volume and the price is up over 33% in the last few days. Ideas??
