Hi mr.mark, sorry to hear of your problem. PW & JCC have touched on it probably better than I, but let me add to their suggestions.

I have a Temp Folder in C:\Windows\Temp. This folder has 40 files and 7 folders with 12.2 MB data. I would hate to delete any for now.

My Autoexec.bat reads,

SET CLASSPATH=C:\PROGRAM FILES\PHOTODELUXE 2.0\ADOBECONNECTABLES
SET SNDSCAPE=C:\WINDOWS
SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 T4

My CONFIG.SYS READS,

DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\HIMEM.SYS
DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\EMM386.EXE

This is the way it defaulted when I added the programs. I have not edited either Autoexec.bat or Config.sys. Everything seems to work, well most of the time <G>. I see no way to add the SET TEMP=C:\TEMP IN
Communicator or Navigator, but you can add it to your Autoexec.bat file.

START/RUN/ type in COMMAND ,OK. now do a CD\ to get the C:\ prompt.
C:\edit, enter. You should have a BLUE screen. If the mouse works click on FILE/OPEN, scroll down to Autoexec.bat, click OPEN. If mouse doesn't work use ALT+F to get the window to drop down under FILE. When Autoexec.bat is showing hit ENTER to drop all lines down 1 space. Arrow back up to empty line and type,SET TEMP=C:\TEMP. Or this line may have to go to bottom of file.
Click on FILE\SAVE, click on FILE\EXIT. You're back at the C:\Prompt, type EXIT, enter and you're back to WINDOWS. You will need to re-start computer for this change to take place. If it doesn't work go back and delete this line or type REM in front of SET (with a space). Save the changes and exit. I'm thinking the internal workings sends the temp stuff to C:\WINDOWS\TEMP file without this line in Autoexec.bat file. Can't see any harm in trying tho'.

I'm running win98, nscp 4.6.

Regards, /jw

ps; with Explore do you show a c:\windows\temp ?.
